"Lament for the Innocents" - words are inadequate to express the sorrow and pain we feel for our people who have lost those they love. Especially in Connecticut - for those who have tragically lost those they love by an evil act of madness.
How will we respond to such darkness in the hearts of those who have lost their moral senses and any reasonable control? I have been thinking that we who believe in God and Christ must do something - whatever we can do to respond with goodness and God's love. We often think that there is not much that I can do - this is not true. Each small thing we do in the name of Jesus Christ - even if it is a cup of water is a service to others for Him.

May God himself give you hope and peace in your care for your families and friends; and also an abiding love for the lost of this world who are indeed with out God and hope. May God our Father bless each of you with compassion and care, and joy in your work and efforts to live a life of love.
Songs of joy and sorrow to the glory of God and in honor to those slain we offer our tears and feeble cries of mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
